This is the 3rd page of my HTML website, where I will be teaching readers how to hit a intermediate serve in ping pong. Start by getting a paddle, a place to play, and a ball. Then hold your racket in the classic shakehand grip, like in the image below this text
Now, you want to toss the ping pong ball up 6+ inches, because if you toss it less than 6 inches, it is illegal. Make sure that you do this with a closed palm, otherwise it will be called illegal. 2 other ways for a serve to be called illegal is that you are in front of the table, or if you are beyond the side boundaries of the table. Your forehand or backhand will work for hitting the ball, but I would recommend hitting a forehand serve. It does not matter where you hit the ball from , although for me I prefer to hit from the left corner of the table, but whatever works for you. When it seems like the ball is almost going to hit the table, bring your racket towards the ball at about a 345 degree angle from the left side, and when you hit the ball, your paddle should be to the right of the ball. That way your serve should be spinny. This serve is very hard to pull off however, so I recommend practicing it before playing it in matches.
